The impact of analogue watches for Year 3 pupils at Witham St Hughs Academy
As an Academy, we had noticed a significant decline in pupils’ ability to tell the time on an analogue clock. We hypothesised this was due to multiple factors, including an increase in pupil use of electronic devices which displayed a digital time, an increase in smart-style and fitness tracker watches which display a digital time and a decrease in the number of pupils wearing an analogue watch.
